• Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech./BBA in relevant branch with min. 70% marks for GEN/EWS/OBC and 60% for SC/ST from an AICTE-recognized institute. Passing year must be 2023 or later.
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Diploma in relevant engineering branch from an AICTE-recognized institute. Passing year must be 2023 or later.
• ITI Trade Apprentice: 10th/Matriculation + ITI passed in relevant trade from an NCVT-recognized institute located in MP (Relaxation for wards of BHEL employees). Min. 60% marks for GEN/EWS/OBC and 55% for SC/ST. Passing year must be 2023 or later (2020 or later for wards).

• Upper Age Limit: 27 years for GEN/EWS categories.
